Hello again my dear readers. You guys may not know about me that much, and today I have an opportunity to tell you where I’m from and my background.
My dad is from the beautiful nation of Cameroon. It is a country on the west coast of Africa, south of Nigeria. I used to live there.
Cameroon might not be the most hygienic country in the world but it is still really nice, in my eyes. Maybe I’m a little biased because I’m from there but still. There are a lot of fruits and exotic foods that you would not find elsewhere, like a cassmonga. It is a fruit that is like a small mango but sweeter.
There is also food like ndolé, which is made with ironweed, peanuts, ground beef, and some other condiments.
There are also a few regions in Cameroon. there is the Center region where Yaoundé, the capital lies, the Littoral region, the West region, the Northwest region, the Southwest region, the East region, the Adamawa region, the North region, and the Extreme North region.
My dad is from the West region, from a small village called Batié. The village is in the mountains, and it is very cold over there. Its like Canada during the fall or the winter.
My mother is from the wonderful country of Mali. Mali is a quite big country in west Africa. My mom is from the capital, Bamako.
One of Mali’s most signature features is its heat. Mali sometimes goes over 45°C, which is 113°F. There are also a lot of mosquitoes in Mali.
Some of Mali’s best foods are also some fruits, but mostly warm meals. This dish is not really from Mali, but people in Mali eat it a lot. It is called attiéké, and it is made with cassava. It is eaten with alloco, which is fried plantain that is cunt into pieces, and fish.
Another food that is commonly eaten in Mali is Poulet Yassa (French for “Chicken with Yassa sauce”). Once again, it is not from Mali, but it is delicious. It is made with rice, fried chicken, and and onion sauce.
My last nationality is Canadian. I am from Canada, because my parents met there, and I was born there. I was born in Ottawa on Nov. 29 2002.
One highlight from Canada is the stereotype of everyone being nice. I have been to Canada many, many times, and I never saw someone that was mean to another on purpose.
One signature food from Canada, we all know it. Maple Syrup! So sweet and beautiful and soft.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed reading about my background a bit.
